Tini

Tini’s early years were marked by instability and rejection. Adopted as an infant by a foreign family, she was soon sent back to Indonesia when they no longer wanted her—a confusing and painful experience for any child. She was returned to her birth mother, a woman trapped in a cycle of poverty and prostitution. As Tini grew older, survival became a shared effort, and she was often the one tasked with finding customers for her mother.

Today, life looks very different. Tini now lives at Bliss House, where she is experiencing stability, encouragement, and care for the first time. In the past year alone, she’s advanced three grade levels in school and has shown incredible determination to build a brighter future. Beyond academics, she’s formed new friendships and found a place where she can simply be a teenager—safe, supported, and full of potential. At Bliss House, Tini is no longer surviving—she’s thriving.
